My first Aurifil Artisan Challenge

Being selected as an Aurifil Artisan is a huge honour, and I was stoked to kick off the challenge in June 2024, and thrilled my welcome box arrived in time (sent all the way from Italy 💕).

Oh, the possibilities with the beautiful Aurifil thread range. My mind has been in overload.

Needle turn applique and big stitch quilting have always been my jam so I kicked off the first challenge using these techniques & made new thread pouches of course.

80wt and 12wt Aurifil are my go-to's for a reason! They're smooth and the colour palette is insane. I had a total blast playing with them for needle turn appliqué and big stitch quilting.
